This brand new vault door lockout was caused when the installation crew incorrectly assembled a critical componet of the locking system, resulting in a complete malfunction of the boltwork.

The worst part was that the business had just opened and all their product was locked inside. We contacted the vault manufacter and after consulting with the companies engineers a plan was formulated to attempt an opening without damaging the brand new vault door.

After several hours of concentrated efforts we were successful in getting it to swing open without mark or blemish to the new vault.

This vault lockout happend at an armored car facility. With millions of dollars locked inside. We recieved the call in the early evening as an emergency opening.

After running some prelinary checks and tricks the vault door remained locked out. It turned into a drill open with armored vehicles lined up waiting for money to load in. After determining that it was a timelock failure.

We spent the next few hours drilling it open and finishing up around 2:00 am in the morning. After repairing it later the same day, the timelock was sent to a testing lab to determine how it failed.

It was later deterined that an employee had wound the timepieces backward breaking all three vault timepieces at once.
